NAVITIME JAPAN Co., Ltd. ("Navitime") handles personal information that Navitime receives from customers in accordance with the Privacy Policy separately established by Navitime, and the following rules (these "Rules").
These Rules shall be subject to amendment in order to more appropriately protect the personal information or to observe any change in the related laws and regulations and for any other reason.

Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Navitime uses the personal information* of customers listed in each item below for the purpose stated in the respective items.
* This includes information that is insufficient to identify the customer by itself.

Information registered by the customer him/herself during his/her use of Navitime's service
(Such as home address, My Spot (the spot designated by the customer), My Station (the station designated by the customer), and e-mail address, etc.) -
Information regarding the history of use of service by the customer
(Such as menus and functions used by the customer, date and time of use, and inputted characters, etc.) -
Information regarding the customer's Device
(Such as user ID, and degrees of latitude and longitude of the current position, etc.) - NAVITIME ID, password

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Navitime does not provide personal information of customers to any third party, except in the following cases:
- (1)
- If the customer consents;
- (2)
- All or a part of the handling of the personal information is outsourced to a third party in accordance with the immediately following paragraph (Entrustment of Handling of Personal Information);
- (3)
- If the personal information is provided following a business succession due to a merger or any other event;
- (4)
- If permitted by laws or regulations or required by laws or regulations or by a court to provide the personal information; or
- (5)
- For business customers, in order to provide analysis of the effectiveness of advertisements and/or services, Navitime may share certain aggregated, non-personal non-identifiable information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular term or how many customers clicked on a particular advertisement, recorded about customers and collected into groups so that such information no longer enables identification of a specific customer.

Entrustment of Handling of Personal Information
Navitime may entrust other companies with the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, for managing such information collected from customers in regards to the service; for operations related to handling inquiries from customers; for operations related to the purchasing of services by customers; and for other operations to the extent necessary in order to achieve the purpose of use stated in Paragraph 3 (Purpose of Use of Personal Information).

Request for Disclosure, etc.
Navitime deals with following requests from the customer or his/her proxy regarding the customer's "retained personal data"* to
- notify the purpose of use of such data;
- disclose such data;
- correct, add to or delete data; or
- stop the use of, erase or stop the provision to third parties of such data.
Please see "Request for Disclosures, etc." for procedures, etc. in details.* "Retained personal data" means the retained personal data set forth in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Law No. 57 of 2003).

Voluntary Provision of Personal Information and Results of Non-provision
A customer who does not wish to provide his/her personal information is permitted to not provide the personal information at his/her discretion; however, the customer who does not provide his/her personal information may not use a part of the services.

Obtaining Personal Information by Unrecognizable Method
Navitime may use cookies for the purpose of improvement of convenience of services. "Cookies" are small bits of information that servers send to the browser of the customer, which allows Navitime to identify the customer's computer. The customer may reject the receipt of cookies through the settings of the browser; however, in this case, the customer may not use a part of the functions of the service.
